Hellenic American College (HAEC)

Hellenic American University is a private, non-profit American university established with the contribution and ongoing support of the Hellenic American Union. The University offers its academic programs in Athens through Hellenic American College, which is licensed for this purpose by the Greek Ministry of Education, Religious Affairs and Sports. Upon the successful completion of their studies and fulfillment of their program requirements, students are awarded their degree directly by Hellenic American University. Hellenic American University is accredited by the New England Commission of Higher Education (NECHE). Graduates of Hellenic American University who completed their studies at Hellenic American College have applied for and obtained recognition of the professional equivalence of their degrees from the Greek Ministry of Education, Religious Affairs and Sports. In addition to receiving decisions recognizing the professional equivalence of their degrees, graduates who have completed academic programs leading to regulated professions have also obtained the relevant professional licenses required to practice their respective professions in Greece.
