The Bachelor in Forensic Science (with Foundation Year) (BSc) at Anglia Ruskin University (ARU) will teach students the principles of forensic science, from crime scene to court room. Based in the Science Centre in Cambridge, students will analyse and investigate a range of evidence in crime scene rooms and the forensic lab.
With a focus on chemical and biological analysis, students will find out what that evidence means. The Bachelor in Forensic Science (BSc) program looks at ways to ‘read’ data, interpret the results and present evidence in court. Students will get the opportunity to use specialist analytical equipment, under expert tutor guidance. They will also learn outside the classroom, with visits to law courts and a local mortuary. In addition, they will have opportunities to work with local police forces and forensic labs.
