Cyprus Maritime Academy was founded in 2015-2016 and is the first of its kind in Cyprus. The academy aims to develop and offer competencies in the three main areas of the Marine Industry: Nautical Science (Officer in Charge of Navigational Watch), Marine Engineering (Officer in Charge of Engineering Watch), and Marine Electro-technology (Electro-technical Officer). The courses offered at CyMA are based at Intercollege Nicosia. The training will also take place in Limassol, the heart of maritime in Cyprus.
