Distinguished as the pioneering institution of its kind in Cyprus, CyMA grants cadets the unique chance to obtain a Bachelor's Degree (conferred by Intercollege) alongside their Certificate of Competence.
 

Cyprus Maritime Academy Scholarships

Cyprus Maritime Academy cadets have the opportunity to apply for scholarships equivalent to 20% of their annual fees during their initial year of study. This financial aid is available to first-year students who meet the application requirements for securing scholarships.

Professional Accreditation

• The academy is a member of the Cyprus Shipping Chamber (CSC), the Cyprus Foundation of the Sea (CyFOS), and the Cyprus Marine Club (CMC).
• The maritime and professional training offered by CyMA follows the standards of the United Nations International Maritime Organization (IMO) and is in full compliance with the provisions set out by the International Convention on Standards of Training, Certification and Watch-keeping for Seafarers (STCW).

Academic Accreditation

 
The Bachelor in Nautical Science (BSc) program offered by Cyprus Maritime Academy is evaluated and accredited by the Cyprus Agency of Quality Assurance and Accreditation in Higher Education (CYQAA), which is registered with the European Quality Assurance Register for Higher Education (EQAR).

ISO and IQNet Certification

 
In the context of the continuous upgrading and improvement of the quality of studies, CyMA has certified the offered programs of study by the Cyprus Certification Company as well as by the International Certification Network – IQNet.
 

Cyprus Maritime Academy Accommodation

The academy offers accommodation to students in one of its three separate complexes: SIX, U, and TRIANGLE. The buildings are among the most stunning student accommodation ever constructed in Europe.
