St Mary's University, Twickenham is a public university in Strawberry Hill, Twickenham, in South West London. Founded in 1850, it is generally acknowledged to be the oldest Roman Catholic university in the United Kingdom. St Mary's University, Twickenham is known for its highly rated teacher training programmes and range of sport and health degrees. The university is made up one Academic Faculty and three Institutes: Faculty of Sport, Allied Health and Performance Sciences, Institute of Business, Law and Society, Institute of Education, Institute of Theology and Liberal Arts.
