Program Description

The BBA Marketing programme aims to provide students with a comprehensive and holistic understanding of the core marketing principles, concepts, tools, trends and developments in modern marketing theory and practice.

Our University is listed as one of the UK Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) “University Partners”, enabling our students to be listed as Affiliate (Studying) Members with CIM. CIM is the world’s largest professional marketing body with members in over 120 countries and accredited study centres in more than 40 countries. You can become a CIM Affiliate (Studying) Member whilst studying in the BBA Marketing program and gain access to many benefits that will support your university studies and help to develop your career.

The BBA Marketing program is currently the only undergraduate marketing program in Cyprus which is accredited by the UK Chartered Institute of Marketing and has a Graduate Gateway (GG). Students will be exempt on an APL basis from L4 Marketing. They will be required to pass two modules, Integrated Communications (Mandatory) plus one elective module to obtain the L4 Certificate in Professional Marketing.

First and second year courses offered also in Greek.

Information about admission:

  • The minimum admission requirement to an undergraduate programme of study is a recognized High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) or equivalent internationally recognized qualification(s) and mark sheet. Students with a lower HSLC grade than 7.5/10 or 15/20 or equivalent depending on the grading system of the country issuing the HSLC are provided with extra academic guidance and monitoring during the first year of their studies.

Other accepted qualifications:

  • In addition to a strong academic record, we take into account the student’s involvement in extracurricular activities e.g. working experience in the hospitality industry, leadership skills, and other relevant background information that will enhance the application of the candidate.

Other English qualifications and information:

  • Students who do not possess any of the English qualifications or stipulated grades listed above and below and hold IELTS with 4.5 and above, are required to take UNIC’s NEPTON English Placement Test (with no charge) and will receive English Language support classes, if and as needed, from UNIC’s International Gateway Centre (IGC).
  • Computer-based TOEFL – 193 and above
  • Michigan Examination of Proficiency in English (CaMLA) – Pass
  • Pearson PTE General – Level 3 and above
  • KPG (The Greek Foreign Language Examinations for the State Certificate of Language Proficiency) – Level B2 and above
  • Anglia – Level B2 and above
  • IEB Advances Programme English – Pass
