    Program Description

    The aim of the master in Special Education (MEd) is to provide students with broad scientific and pedagogical knowledge relating to special and inclusive education, in order to support and promote children’s psychosocial development.

    The master in Special Education (MEd) also aims at providing knowledge and expertise, both theoretical and applied, required for the education and support of children with special educational needs on a one-to-one basis, as well as in mainstream schools.

    The master in Special Education (MEd) provides knowledge regarding issues of special and inclusive education, evaluation processes with respect to the identification of special educational needs (SEN), the educational profile of children with SEN, as well as didactic approaches for the support of children with SEN in school and other educational settings.
