The MA Education is a flexibly taught and inclusive masters course designed primarily for those who work or aspire to work in any field of education and training and whose aim is to develop and improve upon their practice, enhance their professional profile and engage in rigorous research and high level inquiry into their working context.

Programme Structure

MA Education - 180 credits:

The MA Education is made up of five or six 20 credit modules selected from the range available modules. These may include Negotiated Learning modules of 20, 40 or 60 credits.

MA Education students are required to complete Contemporary Issues in Education: theory, policy and practice (20 credits), Research Methods (20 credits) plus a research project (Dissertation) usually 60 credits.
