The general purpose of the master in Teaching of Mathematics and Physical Sciences (MEd) is twofold. Firstly, to help the student gain deep knowledge in the field of specialty via (a) attending education courses at an advanced level, (b) studying relevant literature, and (c) interacting with faculty members and the rest of the students.
Secondly, the master in Teaching of Mathematics and Physical Sciences (MEd) aims to develop research skills through (a) attending special quantitative and qualitative research courses, (b) undertaking small-scale research during the various courses, or/and undertaking a master’s thesis, and (c) participating in research seminars/conferences.
