The master in Human Resource Management (MSc) was founded in 2003 by the Department of Marketing & Communication and Management of Science and Technology of Athens University of Economics& Business. It is the first program in this domain, offered by a Greek University.

The challenges of the 21st century have made Human Resource Management a critical parameter for the survival sustainable competitiveness and success of modern enterprises and organizations. Career prospects in HRM are continuously improving in all countries. However, the certified training of specialized personnel in HRM in Greece lags, in contrast to Europe, where it grows continuously.

The main purpose of the master in Human Resource Management (MSc) is to develop special executives capable of confronting the modern challenges associated with people in businesses and organizations.
