Program Description
FIU’s 12-month Master of International Business (MIB) program is a dynamic, rigorous, and relevant program that takes an innovative, multidisciplinary approach to the current realities shaping global business.
FIU’s highly-ranked international business programs offer students the ability to gain the relevant skills sought after and needed by employers. The MIB curriculum is formulated to match the current reality of the global economy, emphasizing geopolitics, international entrepreneurship, interpersonal and cross-cultural skills, experiential consulting project, and emerging markets.
The program includes an international trip to observe business in a foreign setting and a local trip to see international business activities in the Miami area. As the bridge between Latin America and Asia, a global trade hub, and a highly diverse cultural space, Miami offers an ideal international business education environment.
There are a number of scholarship opportunities provided through the generosity of both individuals and corporations.

- The MIB provides valuable, hands-on experience through the Master’s Project assignment working with real companies.
- You’ll also have the option to attend an international business trip where you’ll not only visit cultural sites but meet with international business executives. The program also features a local business trip to observe international business activities in and around Miami.
