Sunderland has a rich history and one of the UK’s lowest costs of living. City Campus is at the center of a modern city and is home to the main administration and support services, library, lecture halls, and excellent sports facilities at CitySpace. It is also the center for the University’s Arts and Design courses and home to the main Sciences provision, housing the world-famous Pharmacy School, Living Labs, School of Nursing, and the newly-established School of Medicine.
The University has two state-of-the-art libraries: The Murray Library and St Peter's Library. The Murray Library is open 24 hours a day and St Peter's Library until midnight during term time.
