Luiss Guido Carli University is an independent university established between 1974 and 1978 in Rome, Italy. The university has four departments: Economics and Finance, Business and Management, Law, and Political Science. Furthermore, Luiss has four schools for graduate and professional studies: the Luiss Business School, the School of Government, the School of Law, and the School of European Political Economy.

Students can pay an annual fee and live in one of the five residences available at the university. The Luiss Guido Carli University campus is located in Rome's vibrant Parioli and Trieste neighborhoods. Language Cafe

 
Luiss Guido Carli University is home to the Language Cafe, an innovative space where students can meet new people, relax, and practice foreign languages in an informal and international environment.

The cafe stimulates creativity by placing students at the center of educational activities. Following an innovative philosophy, based on learning by doing, and utilizing various languages as the basis for creating content, it provides them with an interactive, multidisciplinary, and stimulating environment.

At the Luiss cafe, students can participate in a variety of activities, such as conversations between Italian and foreign students. They can also attend conferences on current events, special lessons with global experts, debates, interactive workshops, concerts and music lessons, poetry readings, and others.

The cafe possesses over 1,000 books, newspapers, and magazines in foreign languages. It also provides a reading space, and three Mac stations, which students can use for research, job interviews, and video or podcast creation.

Luiss Guido Carli University has created the Milano Luiss Hub, the first digital manufacturing laboratory that unites school-work alternation programs, advanced management training, emerging startups, and public events in perfect synergy.
