Program Description

The bachelor in Writing and Film (BA) at Anglia Ruskin University (ARU) helps students develop their writing and filmmaking skills while learning about the films, writers, and directors that have shaped the medium.

Students will learn to tell stories that engage audiences, through writing poetry, drama, short fiction, or making films and documentaries. They will explore and develop professional writing techniques related to film, including screenwriting and film journalism.

During the bachelor in Writing and Film (BA), students will get invaluable feedback on their creative writing work from professional writers, including teaching staff and Royal Literary Fund fellows, as well as their fellow students. This will offer them the unique opportunity to consider a range of responses to their work, as well as sharpening their own critical skills.

Notes:
• Tuition fees for students who have citizens' rights after Brexit: £9,250/year
