International hospitality is a challenging and dynamic industry offering a wide range of exciting employment opportunities. The Master in Hospitality with Tourism Management (MSc) course at University College Birmingham combines study of these sectors to open the doors to a variety of career paths, from hotel, resort and attractions management to meetings and events, tour operations and travel consultancy.
The program offers two different study pathways to suit students' previous qualifications and experiences. If students are new to these industries and do not already have related qualifications, Pathway A will introduce them to managing the operational aspects of hospitality while incorporating the study of related tourism and events environments.
Alternatively, if they already have an undergraduate degree in hospitality or tourism management, Pathway B will focus on teaching them long-term strategic development of hospitality operations and equip them to engage in continuing development using a broad range of skills.
In addition, during the Master in Hospitality with Tourism Management (MSc) students will have the chance to travel to a European destination for a residential study trip, with the essential costs covered by University College Birmingham.
There may be additional costs by this University.
