Program Description

The “Kinesiology for Quality of Life” is designed for highly motivated individuals with diverse academic backgrounds, including kinesiology, sports science, physical therapy, biology, bioengineering, and others. It is ideal for candidates with a strong passion for research and a desire to explore the frontiers of human movement, health, and performance. In addition to structured academic coursework, students have the unique opportunity to actively participate in ongoing and future research projects in important areas such as kinesiology, brain dynamics, ageing, and more.

The Doctorate in Kinesiology for Quality of Life (PhD) provides students with a thorough understanding of the theoretical and methodological background and prepares them to independently develop new knowledge in the field of kinesiology. The main goal of the program is to equip students with the knowledge and skills they need to solve complex scientific research problems, including the improvement of existing knowledge and the discovery of new knowledge in the field of human movement. In addition, the program fosters the development of communication skills and the ability to report and disseminate scientific research findings.

The students apply innovative concepts and approaches that will contribute to the advancement of science to improve the quality of human life. By focusing on scientific research and development work, the program provides doctoral students with the methodological and conceptual tools to independently explore and build on their knowledge in the field of kinesiology.
