The Master in Identity, Education and Competencies for Democratic Culture is the new one-year, fully distance learning Joint Master's Degree Program of three Departments of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens: the Department of Theology, the Department of Secondary Education and the Department of Philology in collaboration with the European Wergeland Centre (EWC) of the Council of Europe and the Norwegian Government.
The vision of the program is Democracy in Education, so that everyone can live and act democratically with respect for Human Rights.
Upon obtaining the diploma, the following is ensured: Pedagogical and Teaching Competence with a diploma in Educational Sciences in 12 months, full credit in ASEP.
The Master in Identity, Education and Competencies for Democratic Culture is the only in Greece and abroad, which is a collaboration between three Departments of the National University of Athens and the European Wergeland Centre (a partnership of the Council of Europe and the Norwegian Government) with specialization in Democratic Culture Competencies.
