The Master in International Health Economics and Pharmacoeconomics (MSc) teaches students to understand and evaluate processes in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry from an economic point of view. They will acquire comprehensive knowledge about statistics and cost-benefit analysis, how healthcare systems are set up and financed, about the political and regulatory factors involved in approving new drugs and medical devices, and how pricing works.
For this students will gain skills in topics such as economic theory for healthcare, epidemiology and public health, global health product development and regulations, and market strategies for international healthcare.
