On this Master in Information Systems (MSc), students will investigate complex situations, and learn to develop and communicate solutions that combine business and technology ideas.
Students will construct and optimise their own databases, use web programming languages and content management systems to design software, plugins and tools, and apply their knowledge to current business problems. By focusing on current industry issues, they will learn to meet the needs of their current or desired users, while they sharpen their entrepreneurial leadership skills for senior or specialist roles in the tech sector.
The Master in Information Systems (MSc) is shaped by advice from an industry advisory board, to ensure they have the skills and knowledge the sector currently needs, and they will be learning from lecturers who maintain working partnerships with information technology companies.
This course is accredited by the British Computer Society (The Chartered Institute for IT), partially meeting the educational requirement for CITP and CEng.
