The 36-credit master's in data science is designed for students who hold an undergraduate degree in computer science, information technology, information systems, or a comparable discipline. The online data science master's program will give you strong theoretical and practical skills in coding, data modeling, statistical computer, data visualization, forecasting, and technical analytic techniques – all needed in modern business settings.
The MS in data science program gives students the opportunity to become analytical experts by developing skills in both technology and social science in order to find trends and manage data. Data science master's degree graduates will have acquired proficiency in leading edge resources such as Oracle, Hadoop, AWS, SAS, JMP, MATLAB, Tensorflow, and Tableau, and languages such as SQL, Python, and R.
