Program Description

The MSDA Relevance

An increasing number of business organizations count on collecting, storing, and processing data to improve their business models and daily operations. As a result, data analysts play a crucial role in supporting more informed decision-making and generating valuable business insights. The Master of Science in Data Analytics program is developed to nurture professional data analysts equipped with statistical, programming, and analytical skills that support and facilitate data-driven business decision-making.

About the Program

The Master of Science in Data Analytics (MSDA) program is designed to meet the increasing demand for analytical skills required in various business domains. The curriculum is structured to provide a unique blend of strong conceptual foundations and practical skills, allowing the student to become a well-balanced data analyst equipped with strong statistical, programming, and analytical skills. SolBridge’s location in Daejeon, Asia’s Silicon Valley, provides access to hands-on learning through field trips, along with networking to help graduates start their careers. The MSDA program prepares graduates for a career as professional data analysts.

The curriculum consists of core and elective courses, which emphasize the good balance between the hard and soft skills both needed for a successful data analyst. The core part of the curriculum imparts fundamental analytical skill sets, including statistics, programming, and data analytics, while the elective one delves into various business applications of such skill sets.

SolBridge also provides the opportunity to students to acquire some foreign language skills to prepare them for entry into a globalized and diverse world. This document describes the structure of the MSDA program, curricular requirements for graduation, and a list of the core and elective courses offered in the program.
