Program Description

The Master (MAS) in European and Asian Business Management (EABM) at UZH offers a unique bridge between Europe and Asia, equipping young professionals with the global mindset and management skills needed for international business success. The EABM program connects young professionals to international business opportunities with a strong Asia focus.

The program is an executive education master program at university level with a modular structure. Upon completing the program, participants have acquired comprehensive, practice-related knowledge in international business management focused on Europe and Asia. In addition, they will gain basic language skills either in German or an Asian language.

The first part of the Master (MAS) in European and Asian Business Management (EABM) imparts extensive knowledge in economics and general business administration, while the second part deals with the specific market and cultural characteristics of Europe and Asia.

Moreover, participants apply and deepen their knowledge in a paid mandatory internship (or practical business project) lasting at least six months at an international company in Europe or Asia. They therefore become familiar with both European and Asian business cultures and can act as cross-cultural mediators. To complete the program, participants submit a final thesis, which they defend in a disputation.
