Program Description

The Master in Children's Book Illustration (MA) studio-based course, the first of its kind in the UK, will give you the dedicated support and knowledge you need to develop your practice in the art of children’s book illustration.

Within the broad guidelines of each Children's Book Illustration module, you’ll propose and develop a project, with guidance from internationally-recognised illustrators, writers and publishers of children's books. During the Master in Children's Book Illustration (MA) program, you’ll share and discuss your work with other students in group critiques, and attend lectures and seminars that will inform your studio practice.

Notes:
• Tuition fees for students who have citizens' rights after Brexit: £12,100/year
Additional costs:
• Optional London graduation show: approximately £170 - £250 (including catalogue design/printing, gallery space, private view for publishers).
• Optional Bologna Book Fair stand portfolio inclusion: approximately £340 (NB this does not include document preparation, promotional material or travel costs).
