Program Description

The European Bachelor of Management in Hospitality and Tourism at Vatel Nimes ais at preparing the younger generations to build their professional futures in the international hospitality and tourism management industries.

In their first year, students are introduced to Marketing, Human Resources, Administration and Professional Culture. They also learn the rudiments of Catering and Culinary Arts, as well as how to address constraints and unexpected events that arise in Banqueting, Reception and Seminars.

While continuing to enhance their theoretical knowledge, students in their second year are introduced to management. During the practical training, they manage the first-year students, while being managed themselves by the third-year students. Students gain in self-confidence and do an internship in a foreign country other than France.

Thanks to the Marco Polo program, students may do their second year at a Vatel campus elsewhere in the world. This is an opportunity to further develop an international culture while continuing to focus seriously on their syllabus.

Having learned the fundamentals needed to begin team management, students apply this knowledge in their third and final year. They develop their analytical skills while using the knowledge acquired thus far in the program. They are able to devise strategies and take their first managerial decisions.
