Program Description

100% of our students find work after finishing their studies, 12 percentage points above the average for Catalan universities (AQU employability survey 2017). 74.8% is the job quality index which brings together aspects of job satisfaction (AQU 2017).

Abat Oliba CEU University is a pioneer in the methodology that allows students to combine two qualifications and gain two degrees in five years. The Degree in Political Science is taught in a blended learning format, allowing students to combine it with their Journalism studies.

This double qualification aims to train future journalism professionals who also have a solid knowledge of political science. With a theoretical and practical understanding of the subjects, they will be fully competent in both.

With this double degree, students will develop their journalistic production skills as well as their analytic faculties and entrepreneurial drive. They will become experts in the trends, people and activities from the world of politics and will acquire the necessary skills to professionally, efficiently and fairly manage public issues. All of this is taught in an internationally focused framework with internships in public institutions, NGOs and political parties or foundations.
