The School of Marine Engineering is one of the principal academic units of the Nikola Vaptsarov Naval Academy, serving as a leading centre of excellence for education, training, and research in marine engineering. The School was established on 1 November 1999 as part of the reform of Bulgaria's military education system and in accordance with the provisions of the Higher Education Act. The curriculum covers a broad spectrum of engineering disciplines, including Marine Engineering, Marine Electrical Engineering, Ship Repair Technology, Ocean Engineering, and other specialized fields related to ship propulsion systems, onboard machinery, marine energy systems, and advanced maritime technologies.
