Program Description

Not ready for a four-year degree? Complete an associate degree at NIC and take advantage of the Post Graduation Work Permit Program (PGWPP).

Credits earned can be applied towards a future degree.Start your Associate Degree in Science at NIC and receive two years (60 credits) of transfer credit toward any BC university. A wide range of courses are available to meet prerequisites of medical, optometry, dentistry and veterinary programs across Canada. Focus on your area of interest or explore biology, chemistry, mathematics, physics and more.

The 1st Year is $14,905.
The 2nd Year is $15,900.

Work Opportunities after Graduation

Eligibility to Canada’s Post Graduation Work Permit allows students to have an open work permit and work in Canada for 1 - 3 years after graduation. Take advantage of NIC’s dual and/or guaranteed admission agreements with BC universities to make your transfer smooth and hassle-free! Students in associate degree program will complete up to 20 courses (about 60 credits) in first and second year university level. You can continue your studies by transferring to universities directly after NIC.

Under the British Columbia Council of Admission and Transfer (BCCAT), NIC students have pathways to universities across British Columbia.
