Program Description

The innovative integrated master in Dietetics (MDiet) at Robert Gordon University will develop your research, leadership, and service evaluation skills to take you confidently into the changing healthcare landscape.

You will become a clinically adept dietitian with skills underpinned by a thorough theoretical knowledge and understanding of nutritional science, dietetics, public health, and health promotion.

As a Dietitian you will be a registered health professional who uses knowledge about food, science, and the human body in health and disease to educate and give practical advice to patients, colleagues, clients, carers, and the general public.

In the master in Dietetics (MDiet), you will develop skills to empower individuals, groups, and communities to change diet and lifestyle behaviors, and will practice your skills through simulated and inter-professional learning opportunities.

1st in Scotland and 2nd in the UK for graduate prospects: outcomes in Food Science (Complete University Guide 2023).

If you are a Scottish student, you are eligible for a lower tuition fee of £1,820 per year.
