Bachelor in Writing (BA) - Gannon University (Erie)

The Bachelor in Writing (BA) program at Gannon University (Erie) will teach students to analyze and articulate complex ideas, engage with literary works, and develop content for print and digital platforms as you connect with a community of like-minded writers and future authors, editors and publishers.

Students can tailor the major to fit their interests and professional goals by choosing to focus on the following concentrations: Creative Writing (for students interested in multimedia writing, scriptwriting, or publishing) and Professional Writing (for students interested in pursuing a career in web writing, content development, advertising, copywriting, grant writing, and so on).

During the Bachelor in Writing (BA) program, students will participate in workshops and readings along with nationally recognized award-winning writers and poets. They will develop their career through internship opportunities, experiential learning and tailored career-planning resources.
