Program Description

The Italian language, literature, and culture can open up many diverse paths. Students of the Bachelor in Italian Philology will learn the Italian language professionally, become familiar with the history of Italy, and the history of Italian literature and language.

During their studies, they will develop skills to analyze and assess Italian language, culture, and literary phenomena in a broader context. Understanding the cultural and social specifics of the country, graduates will also gain competencies in translation and cultural mediation.

The Bachelor in Italian Philology is tailored to individual student needs, as it offers the opportunity to choose a certain number of subjects from other fields of study.
