    Program Description

    The Bachelor in European Studies (BA) at University of Amsterdam explores the dynamics of Europe through an interdisciplinary lens. Students will learn about culture, history, economics, politics, law and international relations. They will acquire the knowledge and skills to become European professionals.

    In this program, students are introduced to a number of mandatory subjects, including the study of a modern language. They will choose a major that will provide the basis for further specialisation in European Studies. Alongside the core program, they may choose from a range of electives or opt for a minor. They can also decide to study abroad for a semester or do an internship.

    The Bachelor in European Studies (BA) is an accredited degree program.
