In the bachelor in Zoology (BSc) you will learn about zoology. It is ideal if you’re interested in biology but would like to focus on the scientific study of animals, from physiology to ecology and conservation.
Practical learning and laboratory experience start in term one of the bachelor in Zoology (BSc), with opportunities for fieldwork from year one onwards. Your lab skills will improve further in year three with a year-long research project.
This is a great opportunity to contribute to real research carried out in Life Sciences and will train you for a future research or industry career. Guidance is provided by a research-active supervisor and you may work alongside a research group in the University. Some students have even had their work published in scientific journals.
