Geography is an interdisciplinary study that focuses on the spatial relationships of our world's physical, cultural, and economic systems. As a result, geographers work in a variety of fields, including city/county planning, surveying, cartography, aerial photographic interpretation, remote sensing, environmental studies, and meteorology.
Geographers work in the private sector, the government, and non-profit organizations. Many career paths may necessitate more than two years of a college education.
You will learn to describe the spatial organization of the world's peoples, nations, and cultural environments, compare and contrast levels of economic development and their underlying environmental and cultural factors, and demonstrate a global perspective with an appreciation for diverse cultures and societies as part of your associate's degree in Geography.
