Program Description

The Associate Degree in Meteorology at Diablo Valley College offers students the opportunity to prepare for a range of professions through the study of meteorology as an applied science. Students will be prepared to transfer to UC, CSU, and other four-year colleges and universities to earn a baccalaureate degree. DVC prepares students to pursue careers in government, private forecasting, and broadcast meteorology.

After finishing the two-year program, you can transfer to a public or private university to pursue a degree.
