Aquatic Bioresources and Aquaculture

Ukraine possesses marine waters of the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov, hundreds of thousands of hectares of highly productive brackish estuaries and lagoons, freshwater lakes and reservoirs, large river systems that can successfully develop domestic fisheries and aquaculture. In course of the training the students obtain theoretical background and gain up-to-date practical skills in conservation and sustainable use of water biological resources, organization and management of fishery production complexes alongside with studying the methods and technologies of fishery and aquaculture.
