Program Description
The Instrumentation and Electrical Automation Technician Diploma helps you to combine the best industry practices and data management with the technical knowledge to succeed in multiple sectors. Learn to install, program, calibrate, and maintain instrumentation, logic controllers, and electrical systems essential to industrial automation process applications in manufacturing and heavy industry. Training provides graduates with pathways towards red-seal certification in electrical or instrumentation apprenticeship programs or onto advanced post-secondary degrees in electrical engineering.
This program has also been recognized by the Canadian Armed Forces as accredited training for the position of weapons engineering technician and qualifies for subsidized training and education.
