Program Description

A mix of Bachelor’s-level study and final Master’s year, this cybernetics course explores the Internet of Things, smart interconnected devices and intelligent embedded systems.

The MEng Cybernetics covers the fundamentals of engineering but will also give you specialist knowledge in areas such as artificial intelligence for engineering systems and user-centred design. Your final year includes a Master's-level engineering project that will develop your ability to lead and be part of a team.

You should graduate from the course as a pioneer and innovator in the field of cybernetics. Careers include roles in technology, engineering and computing, particularly in the field of emerging technologies. Some of our former students have opted to create their own companies.
