The Bachelor's in Product Design and Technology (BSc) program focuses on exploration and experimentation to develop critical thinking, where their students will learn to identify opportunities and innovate impactful solutions that seamlessly blend form and function, enriching the quality of lives around them.

Their design projects take advantage of their strong links with industry and community partners, giving their students a taste of professional design practice. Their industrial placement in Year 3 gives their students real-world design experience, equipping them with necessary skills and expertise to launch their careers upon graduation. Or students can, instead, have an opportunity to study abroad through their extensive network of academic partners across Europe, India and the US.

The Bachelor's Product Design & Technology students and graduates have won prestigious design awards in national and international competitions such as the Dyson Award, the IDI Awards, and the Enterprise Ireland Entrepreneur Awards.

The Bachelor in Product Design and Technology is accredited by the Institution of Engineering Designers, UK.
