Program Description

Economics provides a rigorous analysis of a range of real-world problems, such as poverty, inflation, unemployment, pollution, crime, taxes, finance, inequality, economic growth and more. You’ll get an education in economic theory and practical application, as well as a strong liberal arts curriculum that includes arts and humanities, social and natural sciences, advanced composition, and statistics. This well-rounded degree provides the skills needed to analyze problems, generate and test ideas, and develop effective communication and quantitative skills. This major also is available online for transfer students. This program includes an accelerated option for students to graduate on a faster schedule.
