Program Description

The three-year Bachelor's Degree program in Economics and Business trains open-minded graduates who are internationally focused.

The course provides solid, basic, general preparation in the most important economic fields and offers an excellent introduction to the fields of business and finance.

Graduates are equipped to work for economic and financial institutions, businesses and public administrations, in positions commensurate with their three-year preparation. The program is entirely held in English.

Major in Economics

In the major of Economics, students will gain specialized knowledge in a range of courses such as Economic Growth and Development, which deals with the dynamics of a developing economy, or International Economics, where they learn more about the economic relationships between countries.

Students have also the chance to personalize their academic profile with electives and “other activities” (seminars, labs, etc.) and are strongly encouraged to take part in an exchange program at one of our many partner universities abroad.

Major in Finance

In the major of Finance, students gain specialized knowledge in a range of topics such as investment banking, international financial markets, regulation of banks and other financial institutions, funding and investment decisions, risk management.

Students have also the chance to personalize their academic profile with electives and “other activities” (seminars, labs, etc.) and are strongly encouraged to take part in an exchange program at one of our many partner universities abroad.

Major in Management

In the major of Management, students are introduced to managerial principles in business settings. Courses focus on the interaction between the economic environment, economic policy, financial markets and financial institutions in an international business context.

Students have also the chance to personalize their academic profile with electives and “other activities” (seminars, labs, etc.) and are strongly encouraged to take part in an exchange program at one of our many partner universities abroad.
