Program Description
With the university program for the bachelor in Computer Science (BSc) of the American State University of New York/Empire State University, with a major in Computer Science and with studies entirely at New York College in Greece, students will be able to:
- Have an in-depth knowledge of Systems Analysis, Digital Communications, Software Architecture, Database, E-Commerce, and Web Design (including Python and/or C++, Java), as well as a basic understanding of microprocessor design, operating system design, and programming languages.
- Analyze, implement, and manage computer systems, both in terms of their technical and management aspects.
- Understand and apply the theories and principles of systems design to real hardware and software projects.
- Explain the principles and theories of ethics in decision-making and the impact of information practices on the day-to-day operation of a business.
