The Master in Professional Psychology at Australian Catholic University (Melbourne) is designed to provide psychology graduates with an additional year of full-time education in psychology professional practice. This year prepares graduates for a final year of supervised practice before general registration as a psychologist.
The Master in Professional Psychology provides students with an opportunity to learn and demonstrate their knowledge and skills in the 8 core capabilities and attributes. This is required to practice psychology. This program includes a simulated practicum unit as well as an internship that enables students to translate their theoretical knowledge into professional and simulated environments to enhance their skill development.
