Over the course of four semesters, you will gain in-depth knowledge and valuable skills for the biopharmaceutical industry. This Master in Medical and Pharmaceutical Biotechnology (MSc) at Fresenius University of Applied Sciences covers the entire value chain: from molecular structures and properties to fundamental principles of good manufacturing practice (GMP) and regulatory affairs in the tightly controlled environment of the pharmaceutical industry.

Graduates of the study program Medical and Pharmaceutical Biotechnology (MSc) possess the expertise and hands-on skills required by the biopharmaceutical industry in key-areas such as (bio)molecular sciences, bioprocess engineering and industrial processes.

As graduates of the program, students will have developed their practical skills through a variety of laboratory courses and workshops and will have learnt to work independently on scientific projects similar to those experienced in an industrial context.
