Master in Biomedical Sciences - Altinbas University

The master in Biomedical Sciences with the thesis in English is planned to be carried out with contributions of the academic staff of the Faculty of Medicine and Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences of Altınbas University.

With this master in Biomedical Sciences, AU will be able to train qualified researchers by integrating various biomedical sciences and related engineering branches into one program.

On the research side, this master in Biomedical Sciences, by the joint use of basic and clinical sciences and engineering disciplines such as bioinformatics, signal, and image processing, aims to develop effective diagnostic and therapeutic methods for metabolic diseases such as diabetes and obesity, neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer and depression.

Common diseases such as cancer, and rare diseases such as Myasthenia Gravis to understand the molecular mechanism of these diseases determine disease-specific biomarkers, and develop bioinformatics methods to increase the sensitivity of the diagnosis and especially early diagnosis of diseases.
