The Earth is facing major environmental challenges such as climate change, loss of biodiversity and over-exploitation of natural resources. Addressing these issues requires effective legal and policy tools, internationally, nationally, and locally.
The Master in Environmental Law (LLM) at University of Dundee will offer students a broad range of knowledge, covering the structures, principles, and institutions of environmental law, both at domestic and international levels.
Students will develop the skills needed to pursue a career in this area of law and policy, as knowledge of environmental law is of increasing relevance in the commercial world.
This course gives students an understanding of the main legal issues related to environmental protection and sustainable development. They will have the opportunity to engage with staff in small seminars and discuss their ideas.
