Program Description
The School of Foreign Studies of Xi’an Jiaotong University offers a Master’s program inForeign Languages and Literaturesfor international students. This program enrolls students infiveareas: English Language and Literature, Japanese Language and Literature, French Language and Literature, Foreign linguistics and Applied Linguistics, and International and Regional Studies.
Students intending to get enrolled to study can choose one of the areas. For all the students, they will have to study the core curriculum courses; and then, students are also expected to choose some courses for their specific thesis research from a list of selective courses. After the completion of the course studies and thesis defense under the specific area, students will be granted aMaster of Arts in literature (MA).
