In the process of training in the major "Aviation and rocket and space technology" students acquire competencies in modern methods of calculation and design of electric rocket engines and power plants, mathematical modeling of complex systems of rocket and space technology, design of parts using modern software products, and development of basic, structural, functional and other schemes of products of rocket and space equipment, experimental and theoretical definition of working characteristics of rocket and space technology.
The purpose of training in scientific (1 year 9 months) and professional training (1 year 4 months) is to train professionals capable of solving complex problems and tasks in professional activities related to the development, production and certification of rocket and space technology, namely satellite power plants and plasma-based systems related to research and / or innovation.
Students study disciplines that provide in-depth knowledge of modern satellites, engines and power plants, technical and economic analysis of the effectiveness of the designed elements of rocket and space products and their production. The obtained thorough knowledge opens many professional opportunities for future specialists and allows them to easily find prospective career in the domestic and foreign labor market.
