The Master of Science in Health Informatics and Analytics (MSHIA) program at FIU trains information systems professionals, healthcare managers, healthcare support personnel, physicians, nurses, and other clinicians to use health information to improve healthcare quality, safety, outcomes, and cost-effectiveness.
The MSHIA is a 16-month fully online program that offers a one-of-a-kind integrated curriculum of health information management and business skills. You'll take part in experiential coursework and network with a diverse group of professionals, which will enrich you personally and professionally. As needed, the online learning format allows for daily interactions with faculty and staff.
The Commission on Accreditation for Health Informatics and Information Management Education has granted accreditation to the program (CAHIIM).
