During the Master in ICT in Business and the Public Sector (MSc) program at Leiden University, students will expand their knowledge of ICT and develop business and organisational skills that are essential to become a modern IT professional.
Students can choose between two specializations: ICT in Business or ICT in the Public Sector.
The ICT in Business specialization aims at providing students with a deeper understanding of the issues, challenges and opportunities engendered by the rapid changes in information and communication technology (ICT) and its applications to businesses over recent years.
The ICT in the Public Sector specialization focuses on the governmental environment rather than a commercial one, concentrating less on issues that are typical of a commercial nature (such as marketing and finance) but paying attention to issues relevant in the public domain such as politico-administrative relations, European procurement and data-driven policy development.
The Master in ICT in Business and the Public Sector (MSc) is unique in the Netherlands and has a strong international focus. Besides students and lecturers coming from all over the world, there are several possibilities for studying abroad. Cross-cultural team work is required in a lot of courses.
