The Master in Computer, Software Engineering, and Leadership (MSc) addresses these gaps. The research-oriented master’s program includes a wide range of courses and projects covering a broad spectrum of quantum technologies, computer science, and software engineering topics as well as essential management and leadership skills.
The course teaches students how to effectively design reliable systems that meet the needs of producers and customers, developing solutions to agreed-upon problems with industry partners and laboratories that act as clients. Working closely with instructors and assistants, students are mentored and work in a modern environment supported by open-source IDEs and engineering tools.

Within a year, 90% of students are employed full-time. For those seeking summer internships (optional), the CIT network provides opportunities locally and beyond Schaffhausen. Paid positions are only available to Swiss and EU citizens (or permanent residents with the right to work).

Academic Scholarships
Candidates who apply by the advertised deadlines will receive priority consideration in the post-admission review process for academic merit-based tuition scholarships. These awards are in the form of partial tuition awards, a % rate of reduced tuition (20%, 33%, 50%, and will be reflected on prospective tuition invoices).
A limited number of highly competitive full-tuition academic scholarships are also available each year. As decisions are made on a rolling basis, priority is given to those who apply early.
